I used to spend a fair amount of time chatting to many people on Special Reserve’s UK Chat Forums — Special Reserve, as a company, has folded and the forums are now known as Freeola Chat. Whilst I was laid up in hospital, being waited on hand and foot by many lovely nurses (it’s a hard life …), I realised how much I missed being able to tinker with my computer. This came as no shock to me as someone who, given the chance, would spend far more time than is healthy on my iMac every day I could. - Have you seen this man?

I’m actually ahead of myself for once in my life and, with N’s help, managed to apply for and get my new “disabled person’s parking card” before my current one expired - this sort of organisation and preparation is virtually unknown in my life.
