Musical baton  13

I’ve read quite a few blogs lately, the authors of which have been passed a musical baton: someone they know emails them with a series of music related questions, they answer them and pass the baton on to other people.

Well, seeing as no-one has seen fit to pass it on to me (can you say “Billy No-Mates”? ;^) I’ve decided to just do it myself. Call me a saddo if you like - I don’t care. Actually, I do care and will probably cry about it for weeks, but I’d never tell you that!

Five songs I listen to a lot, or that mean a lot to me

1. The Scientist by Coldplay
   The first time I heard this I thought it was an excellent track and I still do - my favourite;
2. Stripsearch by Faith No More
   Always one of my favourite bands and this is a truly great track;
3. Night Boat To Cairo by Madness
   Easily my favourite Madness song - reminds me of my youth;
4. Megablast (Hip Hop On Precinct 13) by Bomb The Bass
   Heard this on the radio one Sunday evening when I was about 16 and have loved it since;
5. Transient by Orbital
   A recent addition to my A+ favourites playlist - just a brilliant track.
