I don’t have much that I need to save in order to make my life worth carrying on with should my hard drive die; currently I back up about two and a half gigabytes of data to a DVD-RW once a week. There are more than a few smallish files that could do with being saved daily so I decided to try and copy them to my iDisk with as little of my interaction as possible - I thought using a smart folder would be the key. - Site design

I may have missed a memo or post on a Mac forum or news site, but it seems to me that poor old iSync is slowly being phased out. - Use MSN, Yahoo! or ICQ in iChat 3

I’ve got quite a few contacts who I chat to via MSN and a few via iChat who are either using a Mac or are on AIM and I wanted to be able to use just one application to talk to any and all of them. - Mac OS X 10.4 “Tiger”
